Jacket with needles “Birch”
Beautiful openwork jacket knitting pattern “Birch”, made for sizes S – XXXL
The jacket is knitted with openwork patterns from the 2019 knitting collection by DROPS designers.
The size: S – M – L – XL – XXL – XXXL
Materials: 300-300-350-350-400-450 g. DROPS AIR from Garnstudio yarn (65% alpaca, 28% polyamide, 7% wool, 50 g / 150 m.), Circular and stocking needles 5.0 and 5.5 mm., 6-6-6-7-7-7 buttons.
Knitting density: 16 loops * 20 rows = 10 * 10 cm. Facial surface.
16 loops * 23 rows = 10 * 10 cm. Openwork pattern for the schemes.
Swivel pattern in rotating rows: knit all rows with facial loops.
Shawl pattern in circular rows: alternate a series of facial and a number of purl loops.
Button Holes: knit 3rd and 4th loop together, make a cape.
Button holes do at heights:
Size: S: 3, 12, 22, 32, 42 and 51 cm.
Size: M: 3, 13, 23, 33, 43 and 53 cm.
Size: L: 4, 15, 25, 35, 45 and 55 cm.
Size: XL: 3, 12, 21, 30, 39, 48 and 57 cm.
Size: XXL: 3, 13, 22, 31, 40, 49 and 59 cm.
Size: XXXL: 4, 15, 24, 33, 42, 51 and 61 cm.
Patterns: knit on schemes A.1-A.9
Additions on the sleeves: knit to the last loop in front of the cape marker, 1 person., marker, 1 person., nakid. New loops to include in the pattern.
Subtracts for coquette: to make all reductions from the front.
From the total number of loops subtract 10 loops and divide by the number of decreases.
For example, there are 249 loops — 10 slats = 239 loops; subtract 38 loops.
239 / (38) = 6.28, means to knit together every 6th and 7th loop.
Jacket with needles “Birch”, description:
Back and front: needles 5.0 mm. dial a 171-181-201-211-231-251 loop, including 5 strap loops on each side.
Knit 4 rows of shawl pattern.
Go to the needles 5.5 mm.
Knit: 5 loops of the garter pattern, 10 loops according to the scheme A1, repeat 10 loops of the scheme A2 (15-16-18-19-21-23 times) to the last 6 loops, 1 loop according to the scheme A3, 5 loops of the scarf pattern.
Continue knitting as it is written, at the same time make holes for buttons.
Observe the density of knitting.
At a height of 12-12-13-14-13-13 knit: 5 loops of a shawl pattern, 10 loops according to the A4 scheme, repeat 10 loops of the A5 scheme (15-16-18-19-21-23 times) until the last 6 loops, 1 loop according to the scheme A6, 5 loops of a scarf pattern.
Schemes A4, A5 and A6 repeat 2 times vertically.
Next, knit the first 42-45-49-51-55-59 loops (= left front shelf), close the next 6-6-8-8-10-12 loops for the armhole, knit 75-79-87-93-101- 109 loops (back), close the following 6-6-8-8-10-12 loops, knit the last 42-45-49-51-55-59 loops (= right front shelf) = 159-169-185-195- 211-227 loops.
Now the height of the work 32-32-33-34-35-35 cm.
Sleeves: knitting stockings 5.0 mm. dial the 31-33-35-37-39-41 loop.
Put a marker at the beginning of a circular row.
Knit a circle pattern 4 rows.
Go to the needles 5.5 mm.
Next, knit 0-1-2-3-4-0 persons., 10 loops according to scheme A1, repeat scheme A2 (2-2-2-2-2-3 times), finish 1-2-3-4-5 -1 persons.
Knit until the patterns A1 and A2 will not be knit vertically 1 time.
Next, knit the front satin on all the loops.
At a height of 7-7-8-7-9-8 add one loop on each side of the marker.
Repeat additions every 3½-2½-2-2-1½-1½ cm. – 10-12-14-15-16-16 times = 51-57-63-67-71-73 loops.
At a height of 21-19-19-18-16-14 cm. Knit under the scheme A5 on all the loops.
Repeat A4 / A5 / A6 schemes 1 time vertically.
Close on 3-3-4-4-5-6 loops on each side of the marker = 45-51-55-59-61-61 loop.
At a height of 41-39-39-38-38-36 cm. Delay loops.
Tie the second sleeve.
Yoke: place the loops of all the details on the needles 5.5 mm. = 249-271-295-313-333-349 loops.
Starting from the front side, knit: 5 loops of a scarf pattern, 10 loops according to the pattern A.7, repeat the pattern A.8 to the last 6 loops, 1 loop according to the pattern A.9, then 5 loops of the scarf pattern.
Continue to knit according to the scheme, at the same time perform a decrease over the loops of the front surface.
Decreases 1 (external side): reduce 38-40-44-42-42-38 loops evenly along the row = 211-231-251-271-291-311 loops.
(Now repeat the pattern A.8 – 19-21-23-25-27-29 times wide).
Reductions 2 (from the side): reduce 40-50-50-50-40-40 loops evenly along the row = 171-181-201-221-251-271 loops.
(Now repeat the pattern A.8 – 15-16-18-20-23-25 times wide).
Decreases 3 (external side): reduce 40 loops evenly along the row = 131-141-161-181-211-231 loops.
(Now repeat the pattern A.8 – 11-12-14-16-19-21 times wide).
Decreases 4 (external side): reduce 28-30-42-30-40-40 loops evenly along the row = 103-111-119-151-171-191 loops.
Decreases 5 (external side): lower 16-20-18-28-42-30 loops evenly along the row = 87-91-101-123-129-161 loops.
Decreases 6 (external side): reduce 18-20 loops evenly along the row = 105-109 loops.
Decreases 6 (external side): reduce 28 loops evenly along the row = 133 loops.
Decreases 7 (external side): reduce 20 loops evenly along the row = 113 loops.
For all sizes: when the schemes A.7, A.8, A.9 will be knitted = 20-22-23-24-25-27 cm from the joint.
Go to the needles 5.0 mm.
Knit on all loops 4 rows of garter pattern.
Finishing work: sew underarms seams, sew buttons.
